The 2019 breeding season has begun!

As always, we are looking for your help to plug some important gaps this year – gaps in species coverage, as well as in breeding evidence. Please see the IRBBP toolkit here on this page which we hope will be a useful guide to our priority species and priority areas. Of course, the information we are providing is indicative, and with continuously changing movements of birds you may well be aware of other counties and sites holding these species.

Please be sure to submit a dataform even if you didn’t record any of your target species. Knowing where a species was absent is as important as knowing where it was present, especially for sites formerly known to support those species.  So we would be really grateful if you would provide the visit details, indicate the target species, and enter zero.

Please get in contact if you have any queries or comments, or if you have any problems accessing any of this material. We wish you the best of luck with the surveys!
